Rev. J. N. Currens

Rev. J. N. Currens, born in Gettysburg in 1856, died Feb. 12 in Traer, Iowa, from pneumonia.  
At the age of four he went with his parents to Illinois.  At eighteen he entered business but a 
few years later decided to take up the work of the ministry, and had been engaged in it up to 
the time of his death, being located the greater part of his life in Iowa.  He had a number of 
relatives living in Adams county.
