All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/adams/ _______________________________________________ FALL IS FATAL TO AGED WOMAN From the effects of a fall which caused the fracture of her right hip, complicated by a heart condition, Mrs. Isabelle Deardorff, 80, widow of Henry Deardorff, Arendtsville, died at the Warner hospital this morning at 4:15 o’clock. Mr.[sic] Deardorff made her home with John A. Knouse, Arendtsville. About a month ago, Mrs. Deardorff tripped and fell as she was walking across a room, breaking her right hip. She was brought to the hospital and had been a patient ever since. The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lucinda Bender, Gettysburg, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday afternoon, brief services from the Knouse home at 2 o’clock, with further services form the Arendtsville Reformed church. Interment in Greenmount cemetery, Arendtsville.
