John A. DEARDORFF, veterinary surgeon of Butler township, died at his home there 
at 10:40 o'clock Wednesday evening, aged 73 years, 11 months and 13 days.
His wife, Mrs. Lovina DEARDORFF survives, also three children; George E.,
Biglerville; Melvin O., Butler township, and William E., of Hanover.  Twelve
grandchildren also are living. 
Funeral services Saturday, with brief ceremony at the home and further services 
at Mummert's Meeting House, Elder B. F. Lightner and Elder Charles BAKER 
officiating. 
Interment at the cemetery adjoining the Meeting House.
