M. George Deardorff

Mervie George Deardorff died at his home in Huntington township, Adams county, 
near Round Hill, at 1:45 Sunday afternoon, from tuberculosis, aged 32 years, 8 
months and 10 days.

The deceased is survived by his wife and one child, his father and mother, Mr. 
and Mrs. George Deardorff, with whom he resided; one brother, Chas. Deardorff, 
of near New Oxford, and the following sisters:  Mrs. Robert Howe, of near Round 
Hill; Mrs. Chas. Chronister, of near York Springs; Mrs. Joseph Harman, of New 
Oxford, and Mrs. Mervin Winand, of near East Berlin.

Funeral from the house, Wednesday at 12 o’clock noon.  Interment in the New 
Oxford cemetery, Rev. Irwin S. Ditzler officiating.
