She was aged 81 years. Mrs. Dougherty had been in failing health for some time and usually slept until quite late in the mornings. This morning, her daughter-in-law, Mrs. C. B. Dougherty went into her room about half past ten, and found her sleeping quietly. A half hour later she was found breathing her last and life was extinct in a few moments. Mrs. Dougherty was the widow of the late George Dougherty, deceased, whose death occurred about twenty years ago. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Yeagy and was born at Pines church near New Chester. All the remainder of that family have died. Deceased was a member of St. James Lutheran church. Surviving are two sons, Charles B. Dougherty, of Gettysburg; and Harry Dougherty, of York. Funeral Tuesday from the home of her son, Charles B. Dougherty on Hanover street. The hour has not been determined. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
