Death, the direct result of a fall he had November 5, claimed M. J. Ehrehart, near New Oxford, Tuesday. He was 69 years old. Mr. Ehrehart misjudged a step in the dark early on the morning of November 5 and fell receiving painful injuries and bruises. He suffered injuries about the head as well as internal injuries. Mr. Ehrehart was a successful farmer in Straban township until 15 years ago when he retired to his late residence in the suburbs of New Oxford, but continued to supervise the work on his farm. He was a man of public affairs, having served as a member of the Oxford township school board for ten years and was re-elected to this office at the general election November 8. His first wife was Miss Maggie Moritz. His second wife, Ella M. Ehrehart, survives him. Adams County Independent – Friday, November 18, 1921
