Littlestown, Dec. 11 - Mrs. Ellen C. Erb, widow of the late Samuel W. Erb, died 
Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daniel Crouse, of near town, 
from paralysis, from the effects of which she had suffered for the past three 
weeks.  She was aged 81 years and 10 months.  Mrs. Erb was a former resident of 
Westminster, but for the past 13 years had made her home with her daughter.  She 
is survived by two children, Mrs. Daniel Crouse, of near town, and Dr. Franklin 
H. Erb, of Baltimore; one sister, Mrs. Mary McMaster, of Hagerstown; also by 12 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Opal Feeser and Paul Crouse, Jr., of 
this place.  The funeral will be held this Friday morning at 9 o’clock from the 
house.  The cortege will proceed to Krider’s church, near Westminster, where 
further services will be held, Rev. J. W. Reinecke officiating.  Interment in 
cemetery adjoining the church.
