Fink, of No. 132 Church street, McSherrystown, died at the York hospital Saturday, May 31, following the second operation at that institution. He was aged 20 years, 5 months and 6 days. The unfortunate young man had been complaining for some time, but had only been under the doctor’s treatment for about two weeks. He was taken to the hospital on Friday and operated on for an internal abscess that evening. The following day he was again operated on, from the effects of which he never recovered, and death ensued at 9:30 p.m. The deceased was well known in this place, having been employed at various places here for the past few years, working last at the warehouse of Fisher Brothers. He leaves his father; two brothers, Rev. William Fink, of Rome, Italy; Alphomaus Fink, at home, and two sisters, Miss Aldie and Miss Mary Fink, at home. Funeral Tuesday, June 3d, from St. Mary’s church, McSherrystown, requiem high mass at 9 a.m., Rev. L. Aug. Reudter officiating, interment in St. Mary’s cemetery.
