East Berlin - George H. FISSEL, husband of Tillie LEIB FISSEL, a retired painter 
who had lived in this community for the past 47 years, died at 6 o’clock 
yesterday evening at his home here. He was 68 years old and is survived by his 
wife, a son, Raymond H. FISSEL, Mt. Union, and one grandchild, Marion. Mr. 
FISSEL had been retired for the past seven years. He was a member of the 
Holtzschwamm Reformed congregation and of the East Berlin Fire company. Rev. 
John ROYER will officiate at funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock 
from the late home, assisted by Rev. Snyder ALLEMAN. Burial will be in East 
Berlin Union cemetery.
