Mrs. Samantha Jane Griffith, wife of John Griffith, of Latimore township, died 
at the home of her mother, in Mt. Holly Springs, Monday morning, aged 67 years.  
The deceased had gone on a visit to her mother on December 1, and while there 
was taken ill with heart trouble and it was not thought advisable to remove her 
to her home.  Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Rebecca 
Johnson, of Mt. Holly Springs, and three sisters:  Mrs. Anna Coulson, of near 
Gardners; Miss Clara and Miss Alice Ellen Johnson, of Mt. Holly Springs.  The 
funeral was held this Thursday morning.  Services and interment at the Chestnut 
Grove Lutheran Church, Rev. David Marsh officiating.
