Matthias Grim

Matthias Grim, a well-known farmer of Berwick township, near Abbottstown, died 
Sunday, after two weeks sickness.  Death was due to several paralytic strokes, 
the first of which was sustained several weeks ago, since which time Mr. Grim 
was semi-unconscious until death.  He was 77 years, 3 months and 7 days old. 

Besides his wife the deceased is survived by the following children:  Matthias 
Grim Jr., of Lancaster, Levi Grim, of near Rodgersville, Mrs. Abraham Lehigh, of 
Dallastown, Mrs. Clayton Lehigh, of Berwick township, Mrs. Charles Smith, of 
York, Mrs. Norman Moul, of Abbottstown.  Three brothers, Peter Grim of near 
Rodgersville, Daniel Grim, of Lancaster and Samuel Grim of Dayton, Ohio, also 
survive.
