Death of a Child

William, the two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Groft, of Main street, 
McSherrystown, died Friday evening, June 20, from diphtheria, after an illness 
of only a few days.

The body was interred in St. Mary’s cemetery on Saturday morning.

The father, Charles Groft, who is afflicted with the same disease, is improving.
