News" Gettysburg, PA Mrs. Martin Grove "Death Occurred in East Berlin on Sunday" Mrs. Martin Grove died at her home in East Berlin at ten o'clock Sunday morning at the age of 66 years. Mr. Grove died eight years ago, and leaves these children. John Grove, Charles Grove, and Mrs. McClure of Dillsburg; Edwin Grove, Harrisburg; Mrs. Jacob Grove, East Berlin; and Mrs. Charles Livingston, near Hoffman's Mill. Funeral Wednesday. Services in the Lutheran church following short services at the house. Rev. F. K. Sternat, officiating. _______________________________________ November 28, 1914 Gettysburg Compiler, Gettysburg, PA Mrs. Catherine Grove, widow of the late Martin Grove, died at her home in East Berlin, Sunday, November 22, from a complication of diseases, aged 66 years. She was a Miss Heltzel of Adams County and lived in East Berlin for many years. Her husband died eight years ago. She leaves the following children: John and Charles Grove and Mrs. McClure of Dillsburg, Irvin Grove of Harrisburg, Mrs. Jacob Grove of East Berlin, and Mrs. Charles Livingston near Hoffman's Mill. Funeral was on Wednesday, November 25, Rev. F. K. Sternat officiating _______________________________________ Mrs. Catherine Grove, widow of the late Martin Grove, died at her home in Reading township, at the edge of town, Sunday forenoon, aged 66 years, 10 months and 26 days. Death was due to a complication of diseases from which she had been ailing for some time. The deceased was a daughter of the late John Helsel who many years ago owned and operated the East Berlin mills now owned by Aaron Siegrist. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Jacob Grove, Mrs. Charles Livingston, Reading township; Mrs. J. R. McClure, John A., Paul M., and Charles A. Grove, Dillsburg; and Irvin C of Harrisburg. Also by 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and one sister Mrs. William Prosser of York Springs. The funeral will be held this forenoon, meeting at the house at 10 o'clock, services at Trinity Lutheran church, her pastor Rev. F. C. Sternat, of Abbottstown, and Rev. G. H. Eveler of Dillsburg will officiate. The Trimmer Estate funeral directors. The pallbearers are Wm. Brought, Michael Rebert, Chas. Brown, James Spangler, Jerry Chronister and Orpheus Myers. Internment in Union Cemetery.
