Death of Mrs. Eli D. Guise

Gardners, Feb. 23. – Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Guise died at her home near here 
last Saturday afternoon, following a four days’ illness from pneumonia.  She was 
aged 75 years, 9 months and 9 days.  The deceased was the oldest and last 
remaining member of a family of nine children of the late Jesse R. and Hannah M. 
Group, of Idaville.  She is survived by her husband and the following children:  
Mrs. Frank Weidner, Webster A. Guise and Harrison L. Guise, all of near 
Gardners, and Mrs. Elmer Murray, of Goodyear.  Also fifteen grandchildren and 
four great-grandchildren survive.

Funeral was held Wednesday morning, services and interment at the Upper 
Bermudian Church, Rev. G. W. Frey, of Idaville, officiating.
