Charles W. Harmis, of Baltimore, a former resident of this place, died last 
Sunday at a hospital in Baltimore, after a prolonged illness from cancer.  The 
deceased was aged 80 years, and is survived by his widow, and the following 
children:  Mrs. George Reynolds and Mrs. Calvin Crouse, of Baltimore; Mrs. John 
Keffer, of this place; Messrs. Clark, Edgar and Charles Harmis, of Baltimore, 
and Mr. Nevin Harmis, of Pittsburgh.  The funeral was held Wednesday morning, 
services and interment in Woodsboro, where Mr. Harmis at one time resided.  Mrs. 
Samuel Hyser, of North Queen street, and Miss Ida Crouse, of Lumber street, were 
among those who attended the funeral.
