Jacob Hatrman died on Tuesday night at 10 o'clock, at his home on Philadelphia
Street, New Oxford, aged about 70 years.  He had been afflicted for many years 
with hip disease, but recently was a sufferer from dropsy.  He was one of the 
most highly respected citizens of the town, and a consistent member of the 
Lutheran Church.  His wife and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Frank Maus, survive 
him.
