HARTMAN

Mrs. Susan Hartman, widow of Israel Hartman, died at her home in New Oxford at 8 
o’clock Friday afternoon, March 15th, after a lingering illness from chronic 
catarrhal euteritis, aged 66 years, 6 mos., and 15 days.  Mrs. Hartman was a 
daughter of the late Matthias Mummert and wife and removed to New Oxford from 
East Berlin last April.

The funeral took place from her late home at 9:30 o’clock Monday morning, 
services and interment at Mummert’s Meeting House, near East Berlin, Rev. David 
Baker officiating.  Deceased is survived by several sons and daughters.
