FORMER COUNTY DENTIST PASSES 
 
Dr. J. W. Hickey, for many years a prominent dentist of Littlestown, who retired several years 
ago, died Tuesday evening at 7:45 o'clock at his home in Oakmont, Pa. Complications was given 
as the cause of death.  Dr. Hickey  was 74 years of age. 
The deceased is survived by his widow, the former Miss Clara Keeports, of Littlestown, and two 
sons, Dr. Theron Hickey and Paul K. Hickey, of Oakmont. 
Funeral services Friday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Aloysius Catholic church, Littlestown, 
the Rev. Fr. E. O'Flynn officiating at a requiem mass. Burial in Mt. Carmel cemetery.  
The body may be viewed from 7 until 9 o'clock, Thursday evening at the funeral parlor of J. W. 
Little, Littlestown.
