HOFFMAN died Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah MILHEIM, in Hanover, aged 94 years, 7 months and 17 days. He was a son of the late Frederick Hoffman and wife, and was born in Straban township, this county. He was married to Miss Elizabeth NULL, who died about 19 years ago. Mr. Hoffman resided in Adams county until 14 months ago when he went to Hanover with his daughter. He is survived by four sons, John, of Freedom township, Daniel, of Mansfield, Ohio, Elijah, of Waynesboro, and Benjamin, of Mountjoy township, and one daughter, at whose home he died. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the home by Rev. Dr. C. M. Stock and the remains were brought to Gettysburg and interment made in Evergreen Cemetery.
