HOOVER – Near Hampton, Daniel Hoover on Feb. 25, aged 43 years, 10 months and 15 
days.  Funeral on 28th with interment at Mummert’s Meeting House.  He leaves a 
widow, two daughters, Mrs. Elsie RAFFENSPERGER, Annie and one son Harry at home, 
also by three brothers and sisters.  His brother Samuel could not attend 
funeral.  He was on his way to the home of his dead brother when horse 
blundered, fell on him, broke several ribs and he received other bruises.
