Hyser died Tuesday morning at 2:05 o’clock at his late home on North Queen street. He was aged 64 years, 9 months and 28 days. Mr. Hyser was married three times. His first wife was Miss Georgia Harner, who died in 1885. In 1887 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Ridinger, who died in 1903. He married again to Mrs. Jennie Keefer Wolf, who survives, with the following children by the first wife: Howard Hyser, of Kump’s Station; Mrs. Philip Mummert, of near Littlestown; Ernest, of Taneytown; Mrs. Mervin Spangler, of near Harney, and Mrs. Calvin Bowman, of M street. By his second wife, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Felix Florence, of near Two Taverns; Mrs. Clinton Harner, of West King street; Mrs. Charles Harner, of near Brushtown; Alvia, near Littlestown; Mrs. Clyde Ohler, near Harney; Clarence, near Hanover, and Ralph, of near Hanover. One brother, Benjamin, and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Bowers, of near Harney, and Mrs. Harvey Sterner, of Gettysburg, also survive. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren. Funeral services from his late home Friday morning, meeting at the house at 10 o’clock with further services in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. H. C. Bergstresser, assisted by Rev. W. C. Wachter, of Harney. Interment in Mt. Carmel cemetery. Adams County Independent, Littlestown, Adams Co., PA, December 9, 1921
