George E. Jacobs

George E. Jacobs, a highly respected citizen of Hamilton township, Adams county, 
died Saturday, Sept. 7, of chronic stomach trouble, aged 66 years, 10 months and 
23 days.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Ernest E., of East Berlin, and Allen E., 
of Spring Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Henry Haar, of Hamilton township; also one 
brothers, Cyrus Jacobs, Juniata county; three sisters, Misses Mary and Susan 
Jacobs, Hanover, and Mrs. George Rearich, Spring Grove.

Mr. Jacobs was highly esteemed by all who knew him.  He was constable of 
Hamilton township for 20 years and was a useful citizen in many other walks of 
life.
