Mrs. Sarah Jacobs

Mrs. Sarah Jacobs, widow of John B. Jacobs, died at her home in Zullinger, near Waynesboro, on 
Thursday, Aug. 19th, aged 85 years and 7 days.

She was born in 1824 in East Berlin, a daughter of Daniel Wolff, and was reared there and at 
“Barren Church,” near Dillsburg.  Since her marriage in 1847, she and her husband lived on 
farms in Franklin County and in Maryland, near the State line.  She is survived by nine 
children, her husband having died in 1882.
