Mrs. John D. Kane

Mrs. Mary E. Kane, wife of John D. Kane, of Gettysburg, died June 14, after a 
lingering illness from dropsy.  She was aged about 62 years.

Mrs. Kane was born in Buchanan Valley, Adams county, and was the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Francis Will.  After her marriage to Mr. Kane they continued to reside 
in Franklin township for a number of years.  About three years ago they moved to 
Gettysburg from Baltimore and Mr. Kane engaged in business.

Besides her husband she leaves the following children:  Mrs. C. Fox, Baltimore; 
Frank Kane, Hanover; Herman Kane, Baltimore, and Miss Mabel Kane, at home.

Funeral, Saturday morning.  High Mass of Requiem in the Catholic church at 
Taneytown where interment will take place.
