All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/adams/ _______________________________________________ Worthington Kohler, died at the State Asylum, Harrisburg on Tuesday, Jan. 11 after an illness of over six years from tuberculosis of the bones of his left leg, which rendered him a helpless cripple, aged 48 years, 7 months and 12 days. He was born in Mount Pleasant township, a son of the late William Kohler. He resided in Hanover several years before removal to York County Home, and from there to Harrisburg. The funeral was held last Thursday at York, Rev. R. D. Clare conducting services. He leaves a wife, who was a Miss Rahn, two sons and five daughters; Charles Kohler, of Homestead, Pa., and Ralph Kohler in the West, Misses Mellie, Mabel, Meta, Dorothy and Florence Kohler, all of York. Two brothers – Samuel and William Kohler, of New Oxford also survive him, together with the following half-brothers and half-sisters: George and Luther Kohler, Littlestown; Mrs. Agnes Duttera and Mrs. William Rife, Spring Grove; Mrs. Ellen Stonesifer, New Oxford; Mrs. Amos Weikert, Littlestown, and Mrs. Alice Brown of Hanover.
