Krepps, until recently residing in McSherrystown, died early Tuesday morning in the Adams Co. home, at Gettysburg. Death was caused by tuberculosis of the bowels. He was aged 49 years and 10 months. The deceased is survived by his father, Casper Krepps, of McSherrystown, and the following brothers and sisters: Frank, of Selma, Alabama; Jerome, of Philadelphia; Joseph and I. W. Krepps, of McSherrystown; Sister Corpus Christa, at the convent of St. Joseph’s convent, McSherrystown, and Mrs. John Small, of Franklin street, Hanover. The remains were brought to Hanover over the Western Maryland railroad Tuesday evening and taken to the home of his brother I. W. Krepps, Church street, McSherrystown. Funeral Thursday morning from St. Mark’s church, McSherrystown at 9 o’clock, Rev. L. Aug. Reudter officiating. Interment in Conewago chapel cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, February 12, 1916
