Aged Woman is Dead

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fairfield for Mrs. Annie E. Landis, widow 
of Charles A. Landis, who died Sunday at the home of her son and daughter-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Landis.  She was aged 91 years, and was the oldest 
resident in the community.

Mrs. Landis is a life-long resident of Adams county, and for many years a 
resident of Fairfield, was a charter member of Zion Lutheran church, Fairfield.

She is survived by one son, Charles A. Landis, Fairfield; six grandchildren and 
five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Spangler and Mrs. Rebecca 
Crouse, both of Littlestown.
