Littlestown, Dec. 11 – Mr. Absolem Leppo died last Thursday afternoon at his 
home on South Queen street, from the results of a stroke of apoplexy received 
the day previous.  Mr. Leppo was a prominent resident of Carroll county, moving 
to Littlestown the past Spring.  He was aged 81 years and is survived by the 
following children:  Mrs. Israel Crouse, of East King street; Miss Alice Leppo, 
at home, Cyrus Leppo of Mayberry, and Daniel Leppo, of this place.  Also one 
brother, William Leppo, of Silver Run.  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, 
services in St. Mary’s Lutheran church, Silver Run.  Rev. A. G. Wolf, 
officiating.  Interment was made at Silver Run.
