Short services were held at the home of his parents after which the cortege proceeded to the church, where further services were held. Interment at the church followed. Young Little was a member of the Mt. Joy Community Band and the members of that organization in uniform preceded the hearse from the home to the church. At the church the band members lined up on both sides of the walk leading to the entrance to the church and stood with uncovered heads while the casket was taken into the edifice. The Two Taverns schools were closed for the afternoon and the children attended the services in a body. Albert was a member of the eighth grade at the time of his death. Miss Olivia Newman is the teacher. The church was filled to capacity when the Rev. George H. Eveler delivered the sermon. After the casket had been lowered into the grave in the cemetery adjoining the church, the Mt. Joy Band played the selection “Nearer My God to Thee.” Young Little was admitted to the Warner Hospital last Friday suffering with gangrene appendicitis and was operated upon the same afternoon. Death followed at 8:12 o’clock Saturday morning. He was 14 years old. The pall bearers were Alton Motter, John Trostle, Clarence Hartlaub, Paul Whorley, Glenn Bowers and Glenn Shriver.
