Little Idaville, Dec. 15. – Jesse H. Little, former postmaster at this place and widely known throughout the county, died last Saturday morning at the house of his sister, Mrs. Levina Group, with whom he had made his home for the past four years. Leakage of the heart was the cause of death. He was aged 73 years, 10 months and 23 days. Mr. Little served as the postmaster here, through the administrations of McKinley, Roosevelt, Taft and Wilson, retiring from the position four years ago when his wife died. He was the son of the late Amos and Hannah Little. For twenty-six years he conducted a warehouse business in this place. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Levina Group. Little, of Idaville, who died Saturday night after much suffering from heart trouble. He was a man of generous disposition and kindliness of heart and his passing from life will be followed by the general regret of his community. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Lavina Group, four nieces and one nephew, together with grandchildren. His age was 73 years, and interment took place at Kline’s Church, on Wednesday.
