Lynn, a retired farmer, died at his home on West King street, Littlestown, at 3:30 o’clock last evening from a complication of diseases. He was aged 81 years, five months and 28 days. He had been in impaired health for some time. He was a son of the late David and Sarah Lynn. Since the death of his wife who was Miss Julia Koontz about five years ago, he has been living alone. He formerly farmed in Germany township. His nearest surviving kin are a number of nieces and nephews. His body was removed to the undertaking establishment of J. W. Little where it may be viewed from this evening until Sunday morning when it will be taken to his late home, from where the funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with all services at the house and burial in Mt. Carmel cemetery. The Rev. A. M. Wright, pastor of Redeemer’s Reformed church, of which Mr. Lynn was a member, will officiate. The Evening Sun – Friday, October 28, 1927
