He was aged about 69 years. Deceased was a veteran of the Civil War, having been a member of Company G, 94th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry and he was a pensioner. Mr. McConley formerly resided in Berwick township, Adams county, and moved to Hanover two years ago, making his home with Mrs. Rickrode. He is survived by three brothers and two sisters, as follows: Isaac McConley, Shirmanstown, Cumberland county; Eli McConley, Midway; William McConley, Lancaster; Mrs. Rebecca Laughman, McSherrystown, and Mrs. Jacob Breighner, Paradise township, York county. Funeral Sunday, September 29, services at his late home at 1 p., Rev. A. M. Heilman, pastor of St. Matthew’s Lutheran church, officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
