Mrs. Elsie McDowell

STEWARTSTSOWN — Mrs. Elsie Winemiller McDowell, 82, formerly of this place died 
Sunday at 2:45 p.m. at the home of her son-in-1aw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. 
Ralph Duncan, New Oxford.

Mrs. McDowell was born near here, in Hopewell Township, a daughter of the late 
Noah and Josephine Lamison Winemiller. She was a member of Stewartstown United Methodist 
Church.

Surviving, besides the daughter with whom she lived the past seven years, is a 
granddaughter, Sonya Kay Duncan.

Her pastor, Rev. William J. Lippert, will officiate at the funeral Wednesday at 
2 p.m. from the Kenneth W. Orsburn, Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Shrewsbury Lutheran Cemetery.
