Raleigh, N. C. Standard, 25 April 1860
        A SOLDIER GONE
   -- GENERAL T. C. MILLER, formerly a prominent citizen of Adams County, died 
in Cumberland, Pa. last week. During the War of 1812, he raised a company of 
volunteers, and marching to the defense of Baltimore, was chosen Major of the 
battalion.
