DEATHS - Mrs. Frances Moore 
Mrs. Frances Strausbaugh Moore, 69, wife of John L. Moore, Sr. Gettysburg R. 5, died Thursday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock at her home after 
having been in ill health for a number of years and confined to her home for the last eight months. 
A native of Oxford Twp., she was a daughter of the late George D. and Emma V. Staub Strausbaugh, and was a member of St. Joseph's 
Catholic Church, Bonneauville, and of the Rosary Society of that church. 
Surviving are her husband and these children: George H. Moore, Gettysburg R. 4; John L. Moore Jr., New Oxford R. 1; Mrs. Clair E. 
Shermeyer, at home; Raymond R. Moore, Hanover R. 4; Mrs. Leo W. Hockensmith, Gettysburg R. 5; Leo I. Moore, at home; Mrs. Leo F. 
Todt, Littlestown R. 2; Mrs. Leon H. Little, Hanover R. 4; Charles L. Moore, New Oxford R. 2; and Karl E. Moore, at home. 
Also surviving are 47 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Raymond E. Redding, Gettysburg R. 2. 
Funeral services were held Monday with meeting at the Fred F. Feiser Funeral Hone, New Oxford, at 8:15 o'clock to go to St. Joseph's Catholic 
Church, Bonneauville, for a requiem mass at 9 o'clock at which the Rev. Fr. Anthony F. Kane officiated. Interment in the church cemetery at 
Bonneauville.
