Mrs. Elizabeth A. Mummert, wife of John D. Mummert, died Wednesday morning at 
her home in Myers district, Carroll county, Md., from chronic Brights disease.  
Besides her husband, she is  survived by the following children, Miss Euro 
Mummert, at home; Mrs. Charles Shoemaker, of Myers district; Simpson Mummert, 
near Bonneauville, Worthington, near Littlestown, and John Mummert, Littlestown, 
also the following brothers, John Millhimes and Jessie Millhimes, both of 
Littlestown; James Millhimes and Edward Millhimes, New Oxford; also 16 
grandchildren.  The funeral will be held Friday morning at the house at 10 
o'clock further services will be held at St. John's church.  Interment will be 
made in Mt. Carmel cemetery.  The Rev. Stockslager, Harney, Md., will  
officiate.
