THE OLDEST RESIDENT OF EAST BERLIN PASSES AWAY IN HER 94TH YEAR.

Mrs. Margaret Mummert, Widow, Lived Her Entire Life at Bermudian and East 
Berlin.

Mrs. Margaret Mummert, widow of the late Daniel Mummert, who died 26 years ago, 
died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Bosserman in East Berlin on Thursday 
morning of last week.  She was the oldest resident in East Berlin, having 
reached the remarkable age of 93 years and 21 days.  She had lived her entire 
live at Bermudian and East Berlin, removing to latter place only a few years 
ago, to reside with her only surviving daughter and child, Mrs. Bosserman.  She 
is survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  The funeral was 
held on last Sunday at Mummert’s Meeting House and was largely attended, 
services being conducted by Revs. C. L. Baker and S. S. Miller, with interment 
in the adjoining cemetery.
