Five weeks ago Mrs. Myers, who was 35 years old, gave birth to a son, John Milton Myers. Since that time her health has been failing and she contracted pneumonia which resulted fatally. She was a life long resident of York Springs, being raised by her aunt, Mrs. John Koontz. She leaves besides her husband five children, James, Ethel, Mary, Mabel and John Milton Myers. Funeral services were held on Monday by Rev. Paul Gladfelter, Lutheran minister of Abbottstown, with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs. Gettysburg Compiler – Saturday, April 16, 1921
