All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/adams/ _______________________________________________ Mrs. Maria Myers, widow of Conrad Myers died at the home of her sister Mrs. Solomon Brown, New Oxford, on Monday, July 7 from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy, aged 81 years, 3 months and 11 days. Mrs. Myers, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Albert Malaun at Hampton, on June 22nd, went to New Oxford on a visit and the following Friday, June 27, while assisting at preparing the noonday meal was stricken with apoplexy, and remained in a semi conscious condition up to the time of her death. She is survived by the following children: Henry Myers, near New Chester; Mrs. Prudence Smith, of Oklahoma; John E., Oregon, Ill.; Mrs. Albert Malaun, Hampton; Mrs. C. H. Felix, Mrs. G. D. Moul, of Bair’s Station, York county; William, of Midway, and Robert, of Washington. One sister, Mrs. Solomon Brown, also survived, together with 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband died 11 years ago. The body was removed to the home of Mrs. Malaun at Hampton, and funeral was held last Wednesday, services being held in the Hampton Reformed church and interment made in Hampton cemetery.
