Mr. Neely had been an invalid for a number of years being entirely helpless from a stroke of paralysis received some years ago. He was born and reared on a farm at Five Points, beyond New Chester. Many years ago he was a resident at Fairfield and spent some years in the west. He is survived by his second wife and one young daughter, also by one brother, Bruce Neely in the west, and one sister, Miss Sadie Neely of near Hunterstown. The remains were taken to Mechanicsburg and interred by the side of his first wife in Woodlawn Presbyterian cemetery at that place. Gettysburg Compiler – Wednesday, September 20, 1911
