Mrs. Mary Pottorff died at her home in New Chester last Friday as the result of 
a paralytic stroke.  She was a widow of the late Isaac Pottorff, aged 78 years, 
4 months and 23 days.  She is survived by the following Children:  Mrs. Ella 
Brown, Mrs. Edward M. Etzler, and Mrs. Fred. Zinn, of Hanover; Mrs. William 
Gulden, of York; Mrs. Mark Bream, of York Springs; Mrs. Geo. Raffensperger, of 
Hunterstown; Ernest Pottorff, of Johnstown; Miss Carrie and Chester Pottorff, at 
home.  Also by one brother, Jacob Swope, of Missouri, and a sister, Mrs. Louisa 
Gladwich, of Nebraska.  Funeral was on Monday by Rev. Irwin S. Ditzler, with 
burial at New Chester.
