JOHN REIGLE Funeral Was Attended by Large Number of Relatives From a Distance East Berlin, June 3 – Mrs. Reigle, widow of John Reigle, died in this place on May 26. Her husband died about two years ago. She was a faithful member of the Reformed Church, a kind and good neighbor and was aged 69 years, 6 months and 21 days. She was buried on Sunday afternoon May 29th, in the Union cemetery, services being conducted by Rev. P. M. Spangler, with J. R. Darone as funeral director. She leaves six daughters, Mrs. Georgia Markel, of York, Mrs. Cora Slagle, of Hanover, Mrs. Emma Burnien, of Baltimore, Minnie Reigle, of Union, South Carolina, Nettie Reigle, of Ladiga, Alabama, and Grace Reigle at home. She was also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Samuel Weist, of Philadelphia, John Wiest, of Gettysburg, and Mrs. P. P. Eisenhart and Mrs. L. C. Bubb of this place. All the daughters of deceased attended the funeral. Among other relatives were C. A. Wiest of Ripper, W. Va., Clarence Reigle and mother, of Woodsboro, Md., Birt Wiest and wife, of York, Daniel Wiest of Gettysburg. With Peter Bievenour of York was two sisters of John Reigle.
