Miss Agnes Rickrode

Miss Agnes Rickrode, of Conowago township, Adams county, died in Dr. Hoyt’s 
private hospital, in Harrisburg, Monday, Aug. 26, at 10:50 p.m., following an 
operation for appendicitis.

The young lady, who was 21 years of age, was taken to the hospital on Sunday, at 
which time the operation was performed.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rickrode, of near Edgegrove, 
and besides her parents, is survived by four sisters – Mrs. Amelia Dubs, of 
Hanover; Mrs. Emily Laughman and Misses Jennie and Emma Rickrode; and two 
brothers, Charles and John Rickrode, all at home.

Funeral from Conewago Chapel, Wednesday, Aug. 28, where a mass of requiem will 
be observed at 9 a.m., Rev. Germanus Kohl officiating.  Interment in the chapel 
cemetery.
