Mrs. Riffle was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrich, who came to America from Germany many years ago. She was in her 79th year, and is survived by two sons, George W. and Milton Riffle, of Littlestown; and six daughters, Mrs. Amos Palmer and Mrs. Charles Stick, of Littlestown; Mrs. William Cromer, of Frederick, Md.; Miss Lillie Riffle, at home; Mrs. Howard Yost and Mrs. John H. Schwaim, of Hanover. She is also survived by two brothers, Andrew and John Gerrich, of Littlestown, and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Unger and Mrs. Kate Shamburger, both living in Kentland, Indiana. The deceased was a member of Christ Reformed church, near Littlestown where the funeral services were held and interment made on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., Rev. Dr. F. S. Lindaman officiating.
