Mrs. Sophia Schwartz

Tuesday night, August 3, Mrs. Sophia Schwartz, widow of the late Henry Schwartz, of 
Littlestown, died at the home on her only daughter, Mrs. Alexander H. Rebert, wife of ex-County 
Commissioner Rebert, in Union Township, with whom she made her home.  Her husband died almost 
two years ago.  Mrs. Schwartz, since February, 1908, had been suffering from the effects of a 
paralytic stroke, and had been confined to bed, since that time, being entirely helpless.  Her 
aged was 76 years.

Funeral on Friday, August 6, at 10 a.m., at the home of Alexander Rebert, along the Littlestown 
pike.  Interment in the family lot at Christ Church Cemetery.  Rev. J. J. Hill, of St. Paul’s 
Lutheran Church, Littlestown, of which she was a member, assisted by Rev. F. S. Lindaman, 
officiating.

Deceased was an aunt of Mrs. Jacob Swartz, of York Street, this place.
