Mrs. Gertie May Delp Shaffer, wife of Clayton M. Shaffer, of near Gardners, 
Huntington township, died last Friday morning from pneumonia after only a week’s 
illness aged 28 years, 1 month and 19 days.  Besides her husband she is survived 
by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Delp, of Carlisle, and the following 
brothers, Norris H. and Elmer U. Delp, of near Gardners; Harry F. and Robert L. 
Delp, of Carlisle.  Funeral on Tuesday with services and interment in the Flint 
Ridge Church, Cumberland county, by Rev. G. W. Fry.
