Shelly died at his home in Huntington Township, Adams Co. PA. from an attack of Paralysis which he sustained ten years ago, which terminated in his death, November 14, 1916, aged 70 years, 5 months and 24 days. The deceased was a son of the late Benjamin and Catherine Fauss Shelly and the last of their family of three children. The Shelly ancestors were formerly from Shelly's Island, but later located near York Springs, Adams Co. He was a member of the Hall P. O. S. of A. and is survived by his wife and daughter, Mrs. James Clepper and two grand-children, Geraldine and Derby Clepper.
