Shermeyer Pauline E. Shermeyer, 74, of ... Gettysburg, died Thursday, July 13, at Hanover Hospital. Born Nov. 11, 1920, in New Oxford, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Frances Strausbaugh Moore. She was the wife of Clair E. Shermeyer to whom she was married 58 years... In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters. Norma J. Woerner and Emma V. Krichten, both of Gettysburg, Evelyn S. Heilinger of Spring Grove, and Mary C. Beachtel of Littlestown; five sons, Richard E. Shermeyer of Abbottstown, James L. Shermeyer of York, Michael L. Shermeyer and Mark A. Shermeyer, both of Gettysburg, and Anthony J. Shermeyer of Hanover; 27 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond R. Moore and Karl E. Moore, both of Hanover, and Charles J. Moore of New Oxford; two sisters, Theresa Todt of Mew Oxford and Mary Agnes Little of Hanover; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Brian D. Shermeyer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 17, .. at St. Joseph's The Worker Catholic Church in Bonneauville with her pastor the Rev. Paul M. Miner as celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery. ..
