Shultz Gettysburg. – Sept. 21. – Charles W. Shultz died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Rhea, 428 South Washington street, Sunday afternoon, following a two months’ illness from a complication of diseases. He was aged 71 years, 4 months and 2 days. Mr. Shultz was born in Franklin township and lived there until three months ago when he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. John Rhea. He is survived by four sons and two daughters: James Shultz, in the West; William Shultz, of Roaring Springs; Albert Shultz, of Franklin township, and Emmert Shultz, of Cumberland township, and Mrs. C. A. Sheads and Mrs. John Rhea, of Gettysburg. Two brothers, George Shultz, of Waynesboro, and Franklin Shultz, of Virginia, also survive. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, services in St. Ignatius Church, Buchanan Valley, conducted by Rev. W. W. Whalen. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church.
