Mrs. Jacob Slothower, died last evening at the family residence, near Hampton. 
Death was due to a complication of diseases.  She was aged 70 years, one month 
and 24 days.  She was the daughter of the late Levi and Mary  Ann Raffensperger.  
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Miss Annie Raffensperger, at home 
and one son, J. H Raffensperger, Moose, Montana. Two brothers, Jacob 
Raffensperger, Penn street, and Philip Raffensperger, Biglerville, also survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning.  Services will be conducted in the
Lutheran church, Hampton at 9:30 o'clock.  The Rev. Luther Stauffer will
officiate.  Burial will be made in the Union cemetery, Hampton.
